At first sight, it appears to be just a plump, efficient, candy bar-style phone (4.6 by 2 by 1 inches, 5.2 oz), with well-spaced keys and a really crisp 160-by-128 pixel color screen, but the VX9800 embodies something of a quick-change artist. Flick it loose horizontally and you control a really useable....
